1. Using the section on the Moodle called the U2 Crisis and the Berlin Wall, do the U2 and Berlin Wall worksheet. You will need to use the Walsh textbook and the materials on the Moodle (for question 2 use Source A on the sheet entitled "Berlin Wall Sheet")
2. Use the Christmas break to start your revision. Use the IGCSE History Revision Moodle. I would advise revising the Paris Peace Treaties, League of Nations, Causes of WW2 and the Germany Depth Study.

1. Remember that you should have done your cartoon annotation and explanation by Thursday.
2. Also do note style answers on the final three questions on the Cold War source paper (which is attached and on the Moodle). Don't do the questions on Italian Unification though!
3. Then compare what you have written with the exam markscheme (again on the Moodle), but do not look at the markscheme before you do your answers.
Art students: you will need to do the first three questions on the exam too.

1. You should all have finished the Korean War worksheet. Anyone who was absent should ensure they have done this too. Everyone should also have completed the Cold War summary chart.
2. You should all read the Korean War articles you have been given (copies are on the Moodle in a folder).
3. Read Walsh p100-101 and the sheets on the Moodle entitled "Arms Race" and "From A-Bomb to H-Bomb" and use this information to fill in the bubble sheet (again a copy is on the Moodle).

By Friday you should have completed question 7 on the Korean War worksheet. For those who were doing the Art exam you should pick up the Storyboard sheets from me and read the Korean Chapter on the Moodle before starting the questions.

b) How close did the USA and the USSR come to nuclear war? Again explain the arguments on both sides before reaching a conclusion?

1. You all still need to send me the Weimar Culture presentations which were due in at the end of last year. Can you please ensure you have sent me the presentation by Sunday at the latest so I can upload them to the site. You will then need to make notes on each one by Wednesday, Sept 10th.
